| Planetary Distribution |
The upper chart:
By default, your entire gross income is taxed, and, therefore, planetary currency is accumulated. This situation lasts only if there is no construction or science development. If you decrease tax rates, and thus transfer funds for construction, you'll build faster, but will gain less currency. The same reasoning applies to science. In other words, you may choose a distribution of development and either you may uniformly develop all of the branches or you may temporarily increase the development of some of them and decrease others.
The lower chart:
In the lower chart, you distribute power among cities' population, the raw materials and helium plants, or the accessories factory. In other words, if you don't have enough power, you may balance these parameters to achieve optimal results. In addition, it has to be taken into account that solar power plants generate energy without an adjustable input, while central heating and power plants require materials, and fusion plants require helium-3.
The same chart shows the amount of output (green color) and consumption (red color) of different branches.
